Who's Guarding the Door
An Anger and Healing Workshop
Have you ever looked back at a moment — something that came out of you — and thought: where did that come from?
This workshop is for that question.
Anger gets a bad name. We're told to manage it. Suppress it. Get over it.
But anger is not the enemy.
Anger is a messenger.
And the message it's carrying is rarely about what's happening right now.
Under the anger, there is almost always something older. Something that was never allowed to be heard.
Grief. Fear. Loneliness. The feeling of being invisible, or powerless, or left behind.
Anger runs in front. But it's protecting something much more tender underneath.
Who's Guarding the Door is a three-day healing workshop that goes there.
Not to pull anything out of you before you're ready.
But to create enough safety that you can find what's actually there — and finally begin to move through it.
The workshop moves through the Seven Healing Ways — the ways our bodies were designed to release what they carry.
Crying. Laughing. Yawning. Singing. Talking. Shaking. Yelling.
These are not signs of weakness. They are your body's natural wisdom, doing exactly what it was designed to do. You will leave this workshop with a completely different relationship to all of them.
This workshop is designed for parents and professionals to attend together. That's on purpose.
When the people in the system and the people it serves sit in the same circle, something shifts.
Everyone walks out differently.
Ma Tante is with you.
Every session is facilitated by a Ma Tante — a trained Kamamak facilitator. Ma Tante means Auntie in Métis French. She is not a clinician. She is a guide who has done her own work. She will walk with you, not ahead of you.
People leave this workshop lighter. Something that was heavy gets put down. And what replaces it is not a strategy — it's understanding. Of yourself. Of the people who raised you. Of the children you're raising now.
This program is for parents and caregivers who are ready to look at the anger in their lives — whether it's their own, or what they grew up watching, or both. It is also open to professionals who work with families and want to understand from the inside out.
Most organizations bring in Who's Guarding the Door after experiencing The Kamamak Way. The trust is already there. And now they're ready to go deeper.
Three-day in-person workshop. Delivered across Canada.
